Boersen Apartment Suites - Visby

We stayed at this place and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, right next to a restaurant which made it convenient for dining options. The room amenities were excellent, with a comfortable sitting area and free Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly and provided great service. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities, such as the TV room and billiard tables. we highly recommend this hotel to all.

This place is just a gem and we can't recommend it enough.

The hotel is very centrally located in Visby. The standard of the rooms is high (we were upgraded to a suite and there was even a small, well equiped kitchen). The style of the rooms is very special (golden wallpapers, antique style furniture) and might not be to everyone's taste. The hotel personnel was very helpful and friendly.

The location was amazing, close to everything and right in the city center. The cleanliness was great and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff was friendly.

It is very new, apparently opened in 2010, and very nice. It is like a small apartment with a kitchenette and would be suitable for longer length stays. It is right next to the Gotland Museum, and thus very convenient for all sightseeing, etc. The furnishings are upscale and the entire interior is meant to have an antique look. We spoke to the owner briefly and she said it was a hotel many years ago and she wants to preserve that feel. Despite my frustrations it was a very nice place to stay and we would be willing to go there again.

I was very frustrated by trying to locate the hotel. We were travelling from the US and didn't have cell phones and the email explaining the code on the door was sent after we left the states. Also because it is so new the taxi driver took us to the wrong hotel and we had to walk there, only to not find it since it doesn't have a sign anywhere except for a small piece of paper taped to the door. We ended up asking someone from a nearby restaurant to call the owner for us. I guess the owner is working on signage, but she also wants to keep it from looking too commercial. On the one hand I can understand that, but on the other hand it was an hour of grief that was unneccesary. They also do not offer a breakfast. It worked out okay for us since we were taking the early ferry back to the mainland.

Beautiful, comfortable suite. Excellent location in old town. Well-equipped kitchenette. Delicious breakfast at nearby hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Convenient proximity to attractions. Palace-like atmosphere.

Great location near all the restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and had a quirky charm that added to the experience. The breakfast was good, with a variety of choices and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and willing to give suggestions on things to do in the area.

The cleanliness was very disappointing. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room and bathroom, and the bathroom itself had a bad odor.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. You can walk to the local restaurants, parks, and museums within minutes. the rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. the breakfast selection is varied and delicious. the hotel has a lovely front patio and quirky decor that adds to the charm of the place.

One aspect of the hotel could be improved.

The bathroom could use some updates, though still clean, it would have been nice to see an improvement, especially in the shower area. the Wi-Fi was spotty, which could be frustrating at times.
